Artist Bio

Cader's works have been featured all over the globe in Australia, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and New York. The artist's work emerges from a practice that is experimental and open-ended one that investigates, insistently yet without a rigid, predetermined agenda, the norms that shape the visual world.

His works interplay between shapes. form and colour which is largely influenced by his surroundings, nature and architecture. Cader uses negative space and the rejection of the traditional rectangular format of landscape painting Cader's work draws from Sn Lanka, the civil war and economic instability while highlighting that we are limited to seeing it through certain angles, perspectives and narratives.
