Commentary: I only draw from life, and I favour quick, fleeting poses. I use calligraphy brushes, ink, pastel and charcoal to capture a moment in time, a mood, the essence of the pose before the model moves on. I can say that drawing is the most mindful part of my week, and that it is the only time that I am fully in the moment, untroubled by any other obtrusive thoughts.
Everybody can draw, they just have to let go of negative thoughts that they can't. I am delighted to support The Love Life Art Challenge
