Celeste Rudd is a printmaker who works with traditional, experimental and digital processes. She is a passionate artist, facilitator, art administrator and creative collaborator living in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Having grown up in Appalachia, Rudd is interested in many facets of the industrial revolution, from coal mining to manufacturing. She was influenced by the region’s rich history of craftsmen, artists and the blue collar worker. She has a BFA in printmaking from Memphis College of Art and an AA in studio arts from Walters State Community College. Currently, Celeste is supply store manager at Arrowmont.
