Year 2 White - Birds of Water

When it comes to Australian wildlife Pelicans are unique and full of personality. This piece was created by 24 bright young imaginations and the outcome certainly reflected this.

The students experimented by blending Cotman watercolour paint and created beautiful washes on high quality cold pressed paper. Once the backgrounds were dry they sketched their pelicans and added bright colours to their bodies, beaks and feet using soluble wax pastel crayons to bring them to life. The students personalities shone through and they had so much fun creating this piece, it is a perfect way to bring colour and a smile to any room.

This art work is 780mm (height) by 510mm (width) in a white Manhattan wood frame. Safe for a kids room or playroom with a non breakable cover.
