Camille Monet is an artist from Phillip Island / Millowl, active in the area of community public art. A graduate of RMIT Art School, she works mainly in ceramics and batik, which she learnt and practiced in Bali. In a recent interview published in The Island magazine (Summer 2023/24 issue), she discusses her lifelong love of art nurtured by her artist father, Jason Monet, and the family's possible connections with the Impressionist painter Claude Monet.
