St Mary's Sporting Club Big Day Out 2026
Welcome to the SMSC Big Day Out Online Auction!
The SMSC Big Day Out – Top End Adventures is on Sunday 23 August, bringing the Saints community together for an afternoon of food, raffles, auctions and plenty of club spirit.
This year’s fundraiser is supporting our 2026 Football Darwin Cultural Exchange, with 17 young St Mary’s footballers travelling to Darwin in December.
The Cultural Exchange is about much more than football. It gives our players the opportunity to experience Aboriginal culture, visit remote communities, build new friendships and represent St Mary’s both on and off the field.
Our online auction is a major part of the fundraising effort, with some fantastic items, vouchers and experiences up for grabs. You don’t need to be attending the Big Day Out to bid – so please get involved and share the auction with family and friends.
Every bid helps support our players and make this incredible experience possible.
Auction Details
- Online Auction Opens: Friday 21 August
- Big Day Out: Sunday 23 August | 12.00 pm – 4.00 pm
- Live Auction: Selected items auctioned during the event
- Online Auction Closes: Sunday 23 August | 3.30 pm

Come along to the SMSC Big Day Out – Top End Adventures from 12.00 pm–4.00 pm for an afternoon of finger food, live and online auctions, raffles and plenty of Saints community spirit. Tickets are just $25 per person, with everyone welcome to join us and support the 2026 Darwin Cultural Exchange.

Auction terms and conditions
St Mary’s Sporting Club Big Night Out Auction Terms & Conditions
By taking part in the SMSC Big Night Out Auction, you’re helping support our club and junior development programs. Please read the following simple terms to keep things clear and fair for everyone:
1. Bidding
- All bids are final and binding once placed.
- The highest bid at auction close will be deemed the winner.
- In the event of a dispute, the Club reserves the right to determine the winning bid.
2. Payment
- Winning bidders are responsible for full payment of their items.
- Payment can be made securely via Stripe or at the collection station on the night.
- Items cannot be collected until payment is received in full.
- Bidders have 48 hours to contact the Club to arrange collection and payment. After this time invoices will be sent with reminders to winning bidders.
3. Collection
- Most items must be collected on the night of the event.
- A second collection timeslot will be available Sunday 23 August 4:00pm 5:30pm.
- If you need to arrange another time, please visit the collection desk to discuss.
- Delivery is not provided unless specifically stated in the item description.
4. Item Descriptions & Conditions
- All items have been generously donated and are offered in good faith.
- Descriptions are based on information provided by donors; the Club is not responsible for errors or omissions.
- Vouchers, tickets, or experiences may have conditions of use or expiry dates — these are the responsibility of the winning bidder to check and use within the stated period.
5. Refunds & Liability
- As this is a fundraising event, all sales are final — no refunds or exchanges are available unless required by law.
- The Club accepts no liability for the use or redemption of auction items; this rests with the item supplier.
6. Community Spirit
- By bidding, you’re supporting St Mary’s Sporting Club and helping us invest in our players and community.
- We thank you for your generosity and good spirit in making this event a success.
