Long earmarked as a player to watch, Annabel Sutherland made her debut for the Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL at age 15.

Annabel made headlines around the world in February 2024, when she rewrote the record books scoring 210 batting at No.6 in the one-off Test against South Africa at the WACA Ground, then became the first woman to have her name put on the MCG Honour Board with a Test century in the 2025 Ashes, which Australia whitewashed 16-0. A few days later she won her first Belinda Clark Medal.
