Rwandan Microlot Auction

Explore varieties unseen in Rwanda, across two processing methods. These ground-breaking coffees have been grown and processed by the incredible teams of Shyira, Kilimbi, and Rugali washing stations in the Nyabihu and Nyamasheke districts of Rwanda, from the family of stations managed by our partners Muraho Trading Co.

The project began in 2018, when a selection of seeds were introduced to a nursery in the town of Shyira in Nyabihu District, Rwanda. Our goal was to challenge our collective understanding of a Rwandan profile, whilst learning about the relationship between a variety and its terroir.

These auction lots are the first ever volumes of harvest from our varieties project in Rwanda, and we are thrilled to be sharing them with you. All proceeds from this project will be invested in funding future fertiliser and seedling initiatives across Nyamasheke and Nyabihu districts.

All lots sold from the United Kingdom. ALL PRICES ARE FOR THE ENTIRE LOT, NOT PRICE PER KILO. Auctioned coffees will be sold FCA Bristol, UK. Buyers will be responsible for all freight costs. The Raw Material team can assist with arranging freight and documents for shipment to anywhere in the world.

The auction is conducted in USD, payment for winning lots will be made directly to Raw Material Coffee CIC in the United Kingdom within 14 days of the auction closing and prior to coffee being shipped. Payment can be made in USD or in GBP, EUROS or AUD at an agreed rate of exchange.
