These earrings, made with remnant material, are part of a small collection of jewellery crafted to compliment garments made for an online exhibition titled ‘Wear Worn’ in collaboration with Ruby Aitchison for Radiant Pavilion Contemporary Jewellery and Object Biennial 2021. Lindy McSwan’s practice is founded in gold & silversmithing. She is currently a Master of Fine Art candidate at RMIT University undertaking material focused practice-led research centred around the life cycle of steel. Typically, Lindy is a maker of vessels. Her materials include mild steel, vitreous enamel, rusted steel objects, iron ore, rust, paper, cardboard, handmade pigments and more recently fabric.
