A continuation of my work combining vitreous enamel with more readily available materials. This brooch utilises iron and charcoal powders to add depth to black and white enamels. These brooches are all inspired by thoughts, dreams, and feelings of uncertainty. While the original three brooches were made with myself in mind this iteration was made purposefully for the hands of another person. I hope it can bring comfort and warmth to a someone who needs it.

Teegan Horat is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus in jewellery and object making. Their works are often introspective and contemplative, while utilising found and recycled materials.
