Coral wreath explores symbiosis and the impacts of increasing sea temperatures on the Great Barrier Reef, now in tragic and irreversible decline. An unfolding environmental catastrophe. The 3d printed form of this work pays homage to the beautiful corallite structures that create the architecture of the reef and home to myriad of sea creatures. The materials and processes used to make this work are analogous to the events occurring as a result of climate change.
