About the Artist - Samar Aboul Yazid

My name is Samar Aboul Yazid, I’m a 23-year old self taught artist. I consider myself an artist without the label of a specific genre. People around me have told me that I should stick to technique, a theme, an artistic recognizable style. But I am a person with diverse interests and I try to reflect upon that through what I paint. I try to find myself through art and project my electric personality in order to include a part of me in other people’s lives and homes.

My talent was self discovered  two years ago and with no shame I admit that I almost always have no clue what I’m doing but I never fear trying and experimenting. There’s no shame in being lost, trying to find who you are in whatever you do as long as you continuously focus on trying to evolve and grow as a person. I firmly believe that people should push their boundaries and stay true to who they are and what they want to be, always!
