About artist Lynne B. Clark: Lynne B. Clark graduated from Scripps College with a degree in Studio/Art History and a minor in Latin American Studies. She was fortunate to have studied with beloved collage artist and illustrator Paul Darrow and renowned ceramicist Paul Soldner. "I am a creative magpie, drawn to the overlooked and discarded--the detritus of everyday life. I can still remember the dioramas I made as a kid and have many of the tiny ‘treasures’ I collected during my early childhood in Long Beach, CA.I  love to purposefully blur the lines between ‘high’ and ‘low’ art and to try and capture the wonder of storytelling and curiosity about what it means to be human.I am inspired by the work of artists ranging from Louise Nevelson, Joseph Cornell, and Betty Saar, to El Anatsui, Nick Cave, and Franco Mondini Ruiz, among many, many others.” Lynne also co-runs the Ten Women Gallery on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica. Her work can be found HERE.
