To capture single barrels at their peak. 100L octaves makeup the backbone of the STARWARD Wine Cask releases. This single cask displays the power and flavour that can be derived the old octaves and the influence they impose to the Wine Cask release.
Rich, full bodied expression. Lots of ripe red fruit, dark chocolate, caramel and toasty oak. The palate is full and long, dark forest fruits, and a dry tannic backbone. Long and warm finish.
Single barrel. 100L First Fill Red Wine Octave. 5.25 years old. 48% ABV
