Cate’s Bio:

Cate Storey is the author of three children’s books: "Snuggled Away," "The Perfect Hollow," and the upcoming release "Sunny Finds His Song." Cate’s writing is informed by her background in ecology, conservation, and education. She spent her childhood running around the Australian bush and comes from a family of environmental scientists. Her grandmother was a botanist who specialised in the evolution of Australian flora, and her mother is a botanist and fire ecologist. As a mother of small children and educator, Cate uses storytelling to inspire curious and passionate children, driven to discover Australia’s flora and fauna and fight to protect our unique environment. When not writing children’s books, Cate works as a Communications Officer for her local catchment coordinating committee.
