About this item

A dynamic dialogue mentoring session with WA award winning playwright and children’s chapter book author Suzanne Ingelbrecht.

Do you have a descriptive scene or two that would benefit from the energy of dramatic dialogue? Send through two short descriptive scene (up to 1000 words each) featuring characters from your novel that you think would benefit from shifting into dialogue scenarios – where the character action and revelation comes from their back-and- forth verbal sparring.

Then let’s meet over Zoom – or in person if you live in Perth - for a 60-minute discussion about how to do it. Suzanne will share her tips with you about what makes great dialogue and how it can add to reader engagement and enjoyment; and perhaps help you feel more confident about creating dialogue that ‘sings’!

Value: $250
