Welcome to Melbourne Taekwondo Centre Melbourne Taekwondo Centre has been proudly teaching Taekwondo to students of all ages since its humble beginnings back in 1963. We have always been at the forefront of Taekwondo development in Australia and internationally, as we are the home to Australia’s only two World Sports Taekwondo Champions. Today, we operate 12 branches all across Victoria, and maintain our consistent goal of introducing new students to Taekwondo and supporting them to develop skills for life from beginner to Blackbelt. Our Chief Instructor, Grand Master Jack Rozinszky 9th Dan, is recognised as the pioneer of Taekwondo in Australia and has been recognised by the “Taekwondo Hall of Fame”. Taekwondo is a martial art that has a history that dates back over two thousand years and originated in Korea. With it’s origins in self-defence, it has developed over time to also become a globally recognised sport and has been included as a full Olympic Sport since Sydney 2000. As a club, we embrace all aspects of Taekwondo and provide programs that are suitable for all ages, skill levels and goals.
