Ron Ward was a self taught sculptor and painter. His original works were inspired by the world around him. He liked creating pieces that ranged from whimsy to the more serious aspects of the human condition. He found great pleasure from the process that allowed him to share his vision through his art.  

As an emerging encaustic painter, he found new expression in color.
