Untitled_ccp_archive_56.jpg (iv)  is a part of a body of hand printed photographic works I created for a solo exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne. I worked from and responded to CCP’s archive of exhibition ephemera, catalogues and documents, considering physical and conceptual vulnerability of these documents, imagining how they might be changed in the future.  — Olga Bennett

Olga Bennett is an artist and researcher from Russia currently living and working in Narrm/Melbourne. She has exhibited locally at Bus Projects, CAVES, Center for Contemporary Photography, The Substation, KINGS Artist-Run, Monash Gallery of Art, C3 Contemporary, LON and Margaret Lawrence galleries and internationally at CalArts gallery (Los Angeles) and gallery Kiitos (Japan). Recently, Bennett completed a residency at Frans Masereel Centrum in Belgium. Her work considers how experiences of physical and emotional vulnerability are reflected in images and words.
