Online Art Auction for Bushfire Relief + Recovery
Artists + friends for
Wildlife Victoria and Firesticks Alliance

In light of the widespread devastation from bushfires across Australia, we returned to the gallery early for 2020, to help organise an online art auction in collaboration with artists and friends of the gallery, in support of relief and recovery efforts.

All artists have generously donated their artworks, with 100 % of proceeds from the sale of works (less credit card surcharge) being donated directly to aid ongoing bushfire relief and recovery : locally to Wildlife Victoria and nationally to Firesticks Alliance. These two incredible organisations are doing important and inspiring work.

Not only have the artists donated their works, they have set the reserve prices for at least 50% of their usual sale price.  Help us build upon this amazing generosity, to raise funds for the critical work of Wildlife Victoria and Firesticks Alliance.​

Conditions of sale are final

All prices are stated in AUD

Please note that all bids and sales are final.  As this is an online fundraiser we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. All funds raised from the sale of artworks are being donated directly to Wildlife Victoria and Firesticks Alliance; therefore all pledges, and winning bids are final.

In line with advice from the ATO, as ReadingRoom does not have charitable status, donations and purchases are not tax refundable.  This is a reward based auction through which you are making a purchase, rather than a tax deductable donation.  Consequently, neither ReadingRoom, Wildlife Victoria or Firesticks Alliance will provide you with a tax deductable donation receipt for your purchase.

Shipping / Postage of works

Winning bidders are responsible for, and must pay all costs for the shipping / postage of works. 

All works will be sent direct from artists to winning bidders, once payment has been recieved, at the close of the auction.   The location of the work is clearly stated in the description of the work.

ReadingRoom will make contact with all winning bidders, and will assist in the organistaion of quotes, and shipping logistics, at the close of the auction.
