William Harley Worthington, was born in 1938 on Christmas Day in Ohio. He was small, but feisty. Living with his parents and older brother, he grew up in a typical home and middle-class lifestyle  of the time. He learned how to hunt and fish from his grandfather and carried  that love on throughout his life. While he spent his formidable years as a machinist, he spent his free time enjoying his passion for nature through his hobbies of hunting, fishing, and attending rendezvous as a mountain man. He hand made all his outfits, knives, beaded leather bags, and other Native American decor to sell at various rendezvous throughout the United States for over 40 years. He died on 25 February 2019.
