Watercolor by Lisa Rodewald

"Clematis" watercolor (13' x 17" in 18" x 24" frame) by Lisa Rodewald, who studied with the famous painters Otto Müeller and Erich Heckel ( members of the German Expressionist movement, Die Brücke). Lisa was a German emigré who fled the Nazis in the late 1930s, moved to London, then NYC and on to Cooperstown in the early 1970s. By the time of her death, Lisa was admired and loved by many.
