Beki Davies "Altocumulus"

Beki Davies is a contemporary artist, who's practice explores the complex connections formed between people and place. Site-specific works focus on the symbiosis that occurs when human and landscape meet. Her work collaborates directly with the landscape, utilising materials and processes found within the site, to imbue the work with a sense of place, examining the liminal zone between existing landscapes and disappearing spaces

"Altocumulus" was a result of explorations of the relationship between the sea and the sky. The work is made using photographic processes that involve light and water from the site to imbue the work with an essence of the space.
