Lilliana Paz is a local weaver.
Lilliana has designed 205 textiles, woven 2375 meters of cloth, and finished 570 pieces (so far!) that are held in private collections worldwide under the Paz Industrias and Paz Handmade labels in the Baby Wearing community.
She has been honoured to teach the craft of weaving. She is there more than just to familiarize the student with the technique, but also to help them realize their creativity.
Lilliana first learned to craft things by hand from her mother at a young age. She studied under Leola Witt-McNie in Cowichan Bay, and went to Kootenay School of Art in Nelson to further explore Fiber Art.
She was born in Peru, has lived in Dominican Republic and currently resides in Victoria BC Canada.
