This work is relatable to this artist's particular artistic research, considering the ways in which we use materials to beautify our lives and the ways in which we dispose of them. With a parrticular focus on exological ethics, these three blown, hand scultped paint cans have been filled with left-over house paints, and sealed for archival purposes. The additional bits of molten glass were sculpted to allow for the original handles to be re-attached. With an endless variety of compositions, these beautiful works take on new meaning in their current state.
