At the heart of it are the many families and cultures who have found their way to the Owls and made this club their home. The squiggly lines flowing in from the outside represent those different journeys. Every player and every family arrives with their own story, but once they become part of the Owls, those stories become connected.

The red and yellow ochre circles and dots represent all of our junior age groups, our players and the people who coach them. They represent the energy of the club and the young men and women who turn up each week ready to learn, compete, get stuck in and give everything they have for the jersey.
Around them are the blue dots, which are the families and friends standing on the sidelines, cheering, encouraging and supporting our players through all that rugby brings. Rain, hail or shine, they are there. They are a big part of what makes the Owls feel like home.

The people woven through the painting represent the volunteers and committee members who keep the club moving. They are the ones who give up their nights, weekends, weeks and months, often without anyone seeing just how much goes on behind the scenes. Their work isn't always visible, but without it, the club simply wouldn't be what it is.

The blue lines acknowledge the ACTJRU and the ACT Referee Association, and the important role they play in keeping our game strong. Rugby doesn't happen without the people who give their time to develop, support, officiate and grow the game week after week.

And then there are our coaches. The red and yellow ochre run through them too representing the time, commitment and passion they give to our players. Weeknight training, Saturdays at the field, early starts, long days and plenty of hard work. They do it because they love the game and because they believe in giving our young men and women the chance to play it.

Every line, colour and symbol is connected because every person is connected. Players, families, coaches, volunteers, referees and supporters each playing their part.

But more than anything, this painting is about the spirit of the Owls. Rugby is a tough game, and so is building a club. There are wins and losses, good days and hard ones, but we keep turning up. We fight for each other, we back each other and we don't walk away when things get tough.
