About this item

'Community' by Burruguu Art

Limited edition print/77 - framed

From the artist:

'Community' reflects the different aspects of community and the importance of support, respect and relationships in life. It illustrates the beauty of a community that is built on respect, values the qualities of each individual and treats one and another as you would family.

The designs throughout the work represent aspects of Aboriginal culture, the land, rivers and native flora. The u-shapes are used to illustrate people as it is the mark that would be left behind after sitting cross-legged around a campfire.

This artwork pays respect to my late Grandfather and the community he was a part of. It was because of the person he was and the respectful relationships he made that he was a valued part of that community. It was because of this that my family and I were able to be accepted into and made deep connections within the same community that he appreciated and loved so much.

Your limited edition print of 'Community' will be one of 77.  All prints come numbered and cotton rag prints are embossed with my logo to certify their authenticity. The 'Community' prints are UNFRAMED. A signed Certificate of Authenticity and representation will be supplied with each limited edition print. These are printed as they are ordered so please allow up to 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. The prices include FREE SHIPPING within Australia and are packed with care in acid free paper and shipped in a mailing tube.

The sizes for the fine art prints on cotton rag are A3 (29.7cm x 42cm), A2 (42cm x 59.4cm). The sizes include the 3.5 centimetre white border and they are scanned at high resolution, printed on 310gsm Canson Photo RAG with 12 colour pigment ink.  These standard sizes are helpful when it comes to getting your print framed. Cotton rag prints are for you to frame behind glass.

Thank you so much for your support and I am sure you will love your artwork.
