About this item

Chef Kyle MacLeod is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown, PEI.He has worked with many talented chefs in the United States and across the Maritimes and is currently chef at Miller's in the Maritime Inn. He will create for the winning party a four course meal, starting with Roasted Squash & Apple Soup (velvety roasted butternut squash and local honey crisp apples) followed by a Winter Greens & Artisan Salad ( baby kale and mixed greens in a vinaigrette, topped with pickled red onions, crumbled goat cheese, and spiced walnuts). The main course will be Red Wine Braised Short Ribs ( slow-cooked and served with mashed garlic potatoes, accompanied by honey-glazed carrots and beans with a rich balsamic pan reduction). Dessert will be Warm Gingerbread Cake (Moist gingerbread cake served with a dollop of cinnamon whipped cream). Chef Kyle will need a couple of weeks notice to arrange his schedule and the months of July and August maybe difficult.
