Erika is a long time resident of the Queensborough Area. She paints her surroundings in a bright and lively style. Her affinity for nature is evident in her plein air paintings which encompass the strong life force of the natural world. Many of these paintings start outdoors as watercolours then grow in the studio with the addition of oil pastels, sometimes with surprising results.
