About the artist:

Craig’s work considers systems of power and the state of the ‘failed’ citizen in terms of moral worth and meritocracy regimes. They use performance to produce artefacts that engage with para-feminist modes of critique and parody. Currently they are investigating the ways contemporary society merges baroque excess with metaphors of purity and aestheticism in particular around bodies that we seek to exclude – dominate or label as polluted.
