About the artist:

James Nguyen is based in Murrumbeena (where the Boyds once ran their pottery studios). Nguyen’s work engages with reMatriation, decolonial thinking and language-brokering. He makes memes, performances, film, sculpture etc, drawing attention to the diasporic absurd.
