About the artist:

Georgia Naughton is a visual artist based in Naarm/Melbourne whose practice explores taste and texture in painting as a way of translating bodily experience. Her work channels subconscious hungers and impulses into forms and surfaces, where the boundaries between the internal and external, the somatic and psychological, become fluid. 

Naughton completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2024. Recent exhibitions include Bake Sale at TCB, Brunswick (2025), DEBUT XXI at Blindside, Melbourne (2025), Dry, Fuzzy, Cold at Propane, Melbourne (2024), and The Emotive Power of Colour at Van Der Plas Gallery, New York (2024).
