NVWAA and APABA-VA Fall Fest Mount Vernon Program Arts Auction Special Edition "Women in the Law" Series by MoLove J. Simmons

The artist of these pieces commissioned and curated this "Women in the Law" series specifically for the 2025 Fall Fest and the NVWAA's Mount Vernon High School Program, a program geared towards advocating and supporting diversity and opportunity in the legal profession. Through the Mount Vernon Program, VWAA volunteers have traveled to Mount Vernon High School to provide information, resources, inspiration, and support to students for pursuing a career in the legal profession. The NVWAA has brought Judges and attorneys from various disciplines to the school to discuss and present on numerous topics including what students can do in high school and college to properly position them for successful application to law school, different legal jobs and practice areas, networking, wellness, and more. In 2024, through the Local, Diversity, and Specialty Bar Fall Fest, the NVWAA began the Mount Vernon Program Scholarship Fund, to help support students and families with the financial burdens of applying to and starting college. We are very excited about 2025's Auction!
