Tim Grant has exhibited across Australia and overseas since the 1980s. For a decade he worked with Cambodian refugee camps on international landmine awareness programs.
Tim's photography helped influence the evolution of landmine awareness programs beyond Cambodia, extending to globally to Mozambique, Angola, Kosovo, Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos. In tandem with this endeavor, he extended support to international organizations and NGOs at the forefront of advocating for the eradication of landmines.
Tim's altruistic contributions included donating images and narratives to entities like UNICEF, the European Union, Save the Children Fund (Sweden), World Vision and other NGOs. Additionally, his role as a founding member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) underscored his unwavering dedication to the global movement against landmines, leaving an enduring legacy of humanitarian impact, with ICBL ultimately being awarded the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize.
