PPS Comedy Silent Auction of 2024

Bidder agrees to the following Terms and Conditions governing the Online Auction. 1. Any person who registers for the Online Auction warrants that they are at least 18 years of age and will provide current mobile phone number and email address. By bidding in the 2024 PPS silent auction, each bidder agrees to the Terms and Conditions as outlined. 2. The Online Auction will take place during the time specified on the Auction Site. Bidding on all items will cease when the Online Auction closes at 6pm on Sunday 1st December 2024. 3. Putney Public School Parents & Citizens Association (“Putney P&C”) reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction. 4. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted. All items are “as is.” Putney P&C has attempted to describe and catalogue items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items. No statement made online concerning any item shall be construed as a warranty either express or implied. Bidder agrees to accept items that substantially conform to the description of the items. 5. The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised. 6. Payment for items purchased must be made in full on the day the auction closes via online payment (with added credit card admin fee of 1.75% + A$0.30, paid by the successful bidder). Putney P&C accepts MasterCard or Visa, domestic cards only. Please allow 15 minutes after the silent auction bidding has closed before finalisation of payment. 7. Items in this auction may be subject to an undisclosed reserve price. Item prices which do not meet the reserve are marked. Should the leading bid at expiry not meet the reserve price, the item will not be sold. 8. Following payments, you may pick up your purchases in the Putney Public School Main Office (193 Morrison Road Putney NSW 2112), collect from Putney Public School Main Office the week after, or have it shipped to you at an additional cost (cost to be advised once bidder advises Putney P&C of the postal address - full postage cost to be paid prior to item/s being shipped). You must show your paid receipt for items to be picked up. 9. The purchaser must pick up all items within 7 days of the close of this auction (from Putney Public School), unless special arrangements are made. Any item left unclaimed, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to Putney P&C. 10. Unless otherwise specified on the individual auction item, all auction gift certificates & vouchers must be used within one year of the date of the auction. Gift cards and vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, or used for anything other than the item clearly specified on the auction item directly. 11. Restaurant certificates do not include alcohol, or additional charges unless specified. 12. Putney P&C cannot, and will not, be held responsible for any interruption in service, errors, and/or omissions, caused by any means and does not guarantee continual, uninterrupted or error free service or use of the Auction Site. Bidder acknowledges that this Online Auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Putney P&C, in its sole discretion, may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any items that were affected by any malfunction. The decision of the Auctioneer is final. 13. Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from Putney P&C, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, the auctioneer(s), the auction company and its agents and employees, the event organisers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction. 14. Putney P&C committee members and volunteers, Putney P&C executive members, and Putney Public School employees and contractors are not excluded from submitting bids on items in this silent auction.
