Cassy Polimeni worked in magazines for a decade before becoming a children’s author, including a stint as editor of Destinations Australia magazine. She is the author of The Garden at the End of the World (2023 CBCA Notable Book) and the forthcoming junior fiction series Ella and the Frogs (launching July 2024 with UWA Publishing. She won Just Write For Kids Pitch It! in 2020 and was the recipient of an ASA Award Mentorship in 2022 for a middle grade manuscript.
