The hot sun, the warm sea, rackets’ pings on the balls: everybody on the beach plays table tennis… but without the table. The rules are simple: exchange blows and don’t let the ball drop on the sand. Children scream. Cafes and restaurants give out the odor of food and coffee. A good food is the ‘second sport’ for Israelis, and perhaps even the first. They feel free to admit this without ceremony. At home we take people as they are, with all merits and demerits. And if you want to know more about us - play beach ping pong and then share our meal...
