Trauma - recent or deep, loud or silent - is insidious. It's impossible to run away from or hide from for too long, and it can't be healed with a single Band-Aid. It takes time to unravel, to gradually heal through conversations, smaller and bigger moments in life, being together, or simply taking time for yourself. Each of these methods may be different, but our unifying Factor is the responsibility for what will be allowed to take root in the place of this emotional thickening.
The installation is an encouragement to see previously experienced, sometimes even unconscious, steps taken in organizing our inner worlds, as well as supplemented with beautiful, rich moments and new memories.
Visitors are invited to think about what in their everyday life helps them to deal emotional congestion: talking with loved ones, spending time with themselves, with dancing to the Macarena and other childhood hits, or simply time. By choosing the corresponding sticker, everyone has the opportunity to put care into a collaborative healing experience and complement the existing painting with a new one, thus taking a new step in organizing their inner world.
