SRI LANKAN MODERN & CONTEMPORARY ART IN AID OF THE SUNERA FOUNDATION

Paradise Road Galleries is pleased to present an online auction in aid of the Sunera Foundation, featuring 11 modern and contemporary works, which will be exhibited at Paradise Road Galleries alongside the works to be featured in the Christie’s supported auction. The works featured in the auction are donated from private collections and include artworks by Ivan Peries, George Beven and Jagath Weerasinghe amongst others. All funds raised from the online auction will go towards the Sunera Foundation.

Sunera Foundation is a registered charity working to achieve social integration for differently-abled persons living in Sri Lanka. Sunera’s method is to enable self-expression and inspire creativity in the differently-abled. The Foundation currently conducts performing arts workshops around Sri Lanka, including in the tea plantation region. These workshops are offered totally free of charge and entail a mix of drama rehearsals, physical and breathing exercises, yoga, singing, dancing, art and puppetry. Auction terms and conditions

To participate in the auction, you must create an online account and agree to the terms and conditions

By registering, you are entering a contract to purchase the item you bid on, for the amount of your bid plus any shipping charges.

If you are outbid or your bid does not meet the reserve price, you are not obligated to purchase the item. However, if you are the winning bidder, you are obligated to pay for the item within 48 hours of the auction closing.

Your bids are final and cannot be retracted.

All items are sold in "as is" condition. The organizer does not guarantee the weight, size, grade, quality, condition, or importance of any item.

The winning bidder is responsible for all additional charges incurred, such as insurance, shipping, customs, and handling.

Payment must only be made by immediate bank transfer within 48 hours of closing the auction.
