Hardcover with publisher's original pictorial slipcase. Tan cloth covers show some faint spots of age toning. Slipcase shows a bit of scuffing. 112 pages.

Erwin Smith was the ultimate cowboy photographer. This is a collection of the photos he took in the 1880s-90s that made him famous, with a biographical sketch of Smith written by Haley. A real-life look at Texas cowboys. From the estate of the Holt family, friends and neighbors of the Haley clan.
