Liz Zlot Summerfield works as a studio artist and adjunct instructor in Bakersville, North Carolina. She received her MFA from the University of Minnesota. Summerfield has been featured in Ceramics Monthly and Clay Times, and Ceramics Arts Daily released an instructional DVD featuring her ceramic process and work in 2014. In 2018, she co-created the Red-Handed Symposium, a conference solely devoted to low-fire earthenware enthusiasts.
