Alicia Jane Boswell received her MFA in artisanry—metalsmithing/jewelry from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a BFA in functional design at Murray State University, KY. She worked as visiting professor, sabbatical replacement, adjunct faculty, studio assistant/technician, artist-in-residence, and workshop instructor at arts and crafts education centers around the United States and internationally.
Boswell assisted with and displayed work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art/Ratti Textile Center coinciding with the exhibition “Gems of European Lace 1600-1920.” April, 2013, Textile Support Organization invited her to exhibit work, lecture and teach in Pavia, Italy.
Boswell participated in SIERAAD the International Jewelry Fair in Amsterdam 2013 and in Art Basel/Miami at Aqua in 2018. Her work is found in public & private collections including the Enamel Arts Foundation in Los Angeles, CA & The Lace Museum in Sunnyvale, CA.
