Mount Carmel College's 2026 Arts Festival Silent Auction
Welcome to Mount Carmel College's 2026 Arts Festival Silent Auction.
This is our major fundraising initiative for the year and all funds raised will go towards our Hall upgrade – a space used by students across all year levels.

All items will be on display at the Arts Festival in the O'Brien Resource Centre (Library) on Friday 11 September.
We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our College families and wider community for their donations and support of this Silent Auction.
Important information for bidders:
- The online auction will be open from 5.00pm on Monday 7 September 2026 until 2.30pm on Friday 11 September 2026.
- All bids will be transferred onto bidding sheets in the O’Brien Resource Centre (College Library) which is where all items will be on display.
- In-person bidding opens at 3.30pm on Friday 11 September and closes at 6.00pm on Friday 11 September 2026.
- The winning bidders will be announced in the O'Brien Resource Centre (Library) at the close of the auction with instructions on how to finalise payment.
- We accept in-person and over-the-phone payment via EFTPOS (Credit and Debit Cards). This can be done at the conclusion of the Silent Auction at the Arts Festival on Friday 11 September 2026, or via the College Office.
- All items must be paid for by 12.00pm on Monday 14 September 2026 and collected from the College Office/Student services by 4pm on Friday 18 September 2026.
Auction terms and conditions
This online auction is conducted by Mount Carmel College, 361 Sandy Bay Road, Sandy Bay TAS 7005
Participation in this auction is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older who comply with the Terms and Conditions.
The online auction opens at 5.00pm on Monday 7 September 2026 and closes at 2.30pm on Friday 11 September 2026. All bids will be then transferred onto bidding sheets and further in-person bids will be accepted from 3.30pm until 6.00pm at the Arts Festival on Friday 11 September 2026.
All bids must be placed in increments of $5.00 or more. The seller reserves the right to decline, remove or reject any bid that does not comply with the auction terms and conditions. All bids submitted are considered final and binding.
By placing a bid, bidders acknowledge and accept the item as described and advertised, including any stated condition, specifications, inclusions, or exclusions.
All items are sold as advertised and on an “as is” basis. Bids are final, and no returns, exchanges or refunds will be offered once an item has been won and payment has been made.
The highest valid bid recorded at the official close of the auction will be deemed the winning bid. Winners will be announced in the O'Brien Resource Centre (Library) with instructions on how to finalise payment.
The successful winning bidder must pay for their item via in-person or over-the-phone payment via EFTPOS (Credit and Debit Cards). This can be done at the conclusion of the Silent Auction at the Arts Festival on Friday 11 September 2026, or via the College Office. All items must be paid for by 12.00pm on Monday 14 September 2026 and collected from the College Office/Student services by 4pm on Friday 18 September 2026.
If the item is not collected by this time, the winning bid will be forfeited, and the item will be offered to the next highest bidder.
