A sculptural contemporary piece from iconic Australian design house Dinosaur Designs, the ‘Medium Studio Vase in Water’ captures both the fluid beauty of the ocean and the quiet poetry of the artist’s studio.

Part of the Studio Vase series, this form draws inspiration from light moving across objects within the studio environment. Rendered in textural resin castings, the piece is defined by its elegant curvilinear silhouette — an elongated neck rising from a softly flared base — creating a refined balance between structure and fluidity.

The surface features a soft aqua base layered with inky, tidal washes of deep blue and charcoal, evoking movement, depth and the shifting tones of water. This interplay of colour and form gives the vase a sense of calm dynamism, equally suited to contemporary interiors or collector display.

Handcrafted in Dinosaur Designs’ Sydney studio, each piece is individually cast and finished. Subtle variations in size, marbling and texture reflect the handmade nature of the work and are to be embraced, ensuring every vase is entirely unique.
