Signed Copies of The Year the Maps Changed and The Monster of Her Age + free virtual 45-minute school visit!
About this item
Danielle's middle-grade book The Year the Maps Changed (Hachette, 2020) is a middle-grade coming-of-age story about the bonds of family and the power of compassion, for fans of The Bone Sparrow, and Wolf Hollow. With themes of geography, community, and humanitarian aid, set in 1999 during the Kosovo War.
The Monster of Her Age (Hachette, 2021) is a young adult story of love, loss, family and film – a stirring, insightful novel about letting go of anger and learning to forgive without forgetting. And about embracing the things that scare us, in order to be braver.
Danielle is offering to send signed copies of both books to a successful bidder, and to be made available for a 45-minute (virtual) book talk and/or book-club visit for a local school - who can choose which of her books they'd like to spotlight, and have her talk about.
