Renee Treml is the author and illustrator of the highly engaging and funny junior fiction graphic novel series featuring dead-bird detective, Sherlock Bones (Sherlock Bones and the Natural History Mystery, Sherlock Bones and the Sea-Creature Feature and Sherlock Bones and the Art and Science Alliance). She is also the creator of sweet and silly The Super Adventures of Ollie and Bea graphic novel series, including Squeals on Wheels, Bat’s What Friends are For, and more. Renee has also written and illustrated several award-winning picture books for very young readers, including Once I Heard a Little Wombat, Sleep Tight, Platypup, and Ten Little Owls. Renee has a degree in environmental science and has a passionate love of natural history.
