Kafue National Park Safari Auction
Bid for two night safaris in the Kafue National Park!
Various operators have kindly donated various safari packages to be auctioned in order for "Team Kafue" to raise money for conservation for the Elephant Charge 2019. Bidding ends just before the Elephant Charge 2019 starts. All the packages have a starting value of $400 (all are worth way more than that. In some cases four times that amount!)
Team Kafue comprises a group of tourism operators and researchers who are entering the elephant charge with Tsexy Tsetse (a flatbed Landrover tdi300 thanks to Reel Nature) and comprises: Ben Goodheart of Zambia Carnivore Project, Paul Barnes of Kafue River Lodge , Gareth Broekhuizen of J&M Safaris , Mykal Vermaak of Musekese Conservation , Xia Stevens of Panthera , Lyndon Pinches of Pinon Lodge.
All entry fees ($400 plus the $1000 minimum that must be raised for conservation before teams can enter the Charge) have been covered and so far $2500 has been raised and the vehicle is almost ready. So everything that we are raising now goes straight to the Charge! Last years Charge entry "The Carnivores" raised over $15,000 for the various projects that the Charge supports, so we have a lot to measure up to and need your help!
Winning bidders will complete payment via a JustGiving crowdfund page that we have set up specifically for the Team Kafue 2019 fundraising efforts:
Auction terms and conditions
By bidding on items in this auction you undertake to pay for succesful bids by using the crowdfunding platform 'JustGiving'. The successful bids must be paid immediately on completion of the auction and thereafter the lodges will be informed of the names of the competion winners and it will be up to the winners and the participating lodges to mutually arrange the dates etc of the winners' stay.
