Success in the art world began early for Chris Martin, marked by a First-Place win in the Cincinnati Scholastic Art Awards as a child. After studying at The Art Academy of Cincinnati, she began her career as a graphic designer for Huffy Bikes and spent the next 40 years in retail store design for brands including Sears, Home Depot, and Dunkin’. Since her 2015 retirement, Chris has focused on still life and landscape painting and is a member of The Artists of Palmetto Bluff. Today, she divides her artistic time between her studio and Moreland Landing, where she also collects oyster shells to feature in future works.
