Sharon Clinton grew up in a rural village of northern Taiwan. Besides helping with farm chores, she loved exploring the terraced rice paddies, streams and mountainous woodlands. She immigrated to America as a young adult, and now divides her time between the Virginia countryside and the South Carolina low country.

Sharon typically paints in oil with an underlying sense of movement. She enjoys painting atmospheric landscapes that evoke the ephemeral beauty of the golden hours.

Sharon is a member of the Artists in Middleburg gallery in Middleburg, VA, the Loudon , VA Sketch Club and the Artists of Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina.
