While she’s always been creative, obtaining her BFA in Fine Art, her career, children and a globe-trotting husband kept her from picking up her brushes until moving to the Lowcountry from New Jersey in 2009.

Here, she had the time and inspiration to get her paints wet, and capture the changing light & beauty surrounding her. She loves watercolors. Although they are the most challenging of mediums, they are also the most spontaneous & immediate, with unpredictable results that can never be duplicated. Most recently she has been enchanted with pastels. After studying with Karen Margulis, a master pastel painter in Atlanta, she has been hooked – and further exploring the potential of the chosen medium of Degas.
